We are located in the Mpasa I Region outside the capital city of Kinshasa where the poorest of the poor live. This community has never had the services of another non-profit organization. With the anticipation of serving about 150 children, Miriam’s Table opened its doors in October of 2014. We now serve 350-400 children daily.

The meal is a mixture of grains, nutrients, and a touch of sugar that provides a full day’s nutrition as it may be the only meal they receive each day. Through our efforts, much needed medicines are provided to prevent diseases from intestinal parasites. In addition to the health of the children, 11 men and women are provided with full time jobs; a blessing in an area where little work is available.
