Who is Debbie?

Debbie is a retired teacher from New Jersey. Debbie and her husband, Keith, relocated full time to Rehoboth in 2020 after being part-timers since 2014. She loves bike riding, kayaking, volunteers for the church food kitchen and enjoys her four grandchildren. Debbie is secretary for Miriam’s Table. She is responsible for keeping minutes at all meetings, helping with creation of flyers, sending out emails, among many other tasks! 

Why did she join the board?

Debbie joined the board in September of 2025 after being a volunteer for Miriam’s Table. As Debbie is a retired teacher, she enjoys participating in events or groups that help better the lives of children. In the past, besides being a teacher, Debbie was a trained coach and participant for Girls on the Run for 17 years, or 34 seasons teaching essential life skills to girls in grade 3 through 5. Children are the future and all children should have access to nutritious meals.
