Our Impact
Established in 2014, Miriam's Table is located on the northwest outskirts of the capital city of Kinshasa, in a region called Mpasa I, where thousands of children battle starvation every day. Mpasa I has been described as "the poorest of the poor".
Since our inception, we have increased our efforts to improve the children's lives. A fresh water well was drilled and provides access not only for Miriam's Table but the community. The children's growth is tracked so we are assured of their development. Medications for antiparasitics are provided.
Currently eleven people in Mpasa are employed by Miriam's Table. There is no paid administrative staff in the U.S., all are volunteers.
