Who is Marcia?

 Marcia is a retired Industrial Engineer, who relocated with Chuck, her husband and Mike, her son, to Lewes, Delaware in 2017.  She and Chuck had raised their family in Danbury, CT the previous twenty-five years.  She is very active in her church’s food ministry.  She loves live music, Pilates, good mystery/crime fiction, red wines, dark chocolate and a good laugh.

Why did she join the board?

After attending the Christmas House Party in 2023 and 2024, Marcia became inspired by Miriam’s Table’s story of a special education teacher from a small town in Delaware committed to feeding starving children half a world away.  The impact of one person’s decision is so incredible to witness.  How could she not get involved?  In today’s world, NO child, anywhere, should go hungry, much less starve.
